Senior Landscape Architect – Design Team Leader | Wellington
We are looking for a senior landscape architect /design team leader to join our Wellington office.
As a leader in providing environmental planning and design services throughout New Zealand, Boffa Miskell’s portfolio ranges from small development ventures through to major infrastructure projects, as well as strategic planning and RMA policy work. We work as one company nationally, with each of our four offices providing services in spatial and statutory planning, urban design, ecology, landscape planning, and landscape architecture.
A wholly New Zealand-owned practice, we are big enough to attract a good range of colleagues and projects, but small enough to care for and support each other’s professional goals. We provide internal and external mentoring and training opportunities, a team-based work environment, and a career structure for people looking for advancement.
This position would suit someone with proven leadership capabilities and conceptual design ability. Although based in Wellington, the right person would work closely with others in our national design team so that the company’s collective design knowledge and strengths would be available to our Wellington regional clients.

- Qualified in landscape architecture and has a quality portfolio of representative work.
- A professional with a proven track record in leadership in a professional environment.
- Interested and able to work with our existing clients while also developing our expanding business.
- Motivated to pursue a long-term career as a leading consultant in landscape architecture.
- Confident in putting forward new ideas and in developing design concepts with others.
- Skilled in using graphics and able in written and oral communication skills.
