Technical Services

My role requires me to employ efficient and innovative approaches to data management and manipulation, utilizing various databases, GIS, and programming software. I am experienced in establishing systems and processes for major infrastructure projects, including data capture for building and underground utility assets, as well as the LINZ Biosecurity control programme.

My expertise lies in CAD, ArcGIS, FME, and Python, and I apply my in-depth understanding and technical skills to a wide range of landscape, ecology, and planning projects. Notably, I have created 3D interactive models of the Auckland Waterfront and central Christchurch, allowing planners to test rules and assess population capacity, providing valuable insights for decision-making. I am also skilled in utilizing GIS for mapping in public engagement processes and policy analysis, creating user-friendly interactive maps that are easy to understand.

I am enthusiastic about using the latest technologies developed by ESRI for their ArcGIS Online Platform (AGOL) to create web applications. I enjoy developing interactive 3D scenes, sophisticated survey forms, spatial data collection tools, and summary dashboards, leveraging these tools to drive innovation and efficiency in data-driven decision-making processes. My extensive experience, expertise, and passion for GIS and 3D landscape modelling enable me to contribute to projects with cutting-edge solutions and insights.
