I have worked on a diverse range of applied and research-based ecological and biosecurity focused projects including avifauna surveys, vertebrate pest management and developing strategies for large scale ecological and biosecurity projects.

I have a keen interest in renewable energy projects and the decarbonisation of New Zealand's energy infrastructure. I've undertaken a range of terrestrial ecological surveys and the assessment of ecological effects for wind and solar farm developments.

My experience includes monitoring for a range of avian species in coastal, forest and wetland ecosystems and the preparation of plans for the restoration of ecosystems in conjunction with pest control activities. I have spent the last 15 years leading research and development of tools and methodologies for the control of invasive vertebrate pest species, which is critical for the protection and enhancement of native biodiversity.
