A significant milestone in our Tauranga office has seen Sharon De Luca succeed longstanding Managing Principal, Craig Batchelar, in the role.
Sharon is embracing her new role and successfully leading the Tauranga office, as Craig did for so many years. Sharon joined Boffa Miskell in 2007 and has become a trusted leader over this time. She has managed a wide range of projects and was recently appointed a technical leader for the science discipline within the company.
“In this role, overseeing the progress and performance of the Tauranga office, I will support the team to grow and develop its range of capabilities, sustaining the positive culture within the office. We will adapt to changing markets and changing technology, while continuing to do great work for our clients,” says Sharon.
Craig will continue on as the Managing Principal for our Hamilton office, which opened in 2016. He will be looking at ways to better service our key clients in the Waikato and establishing new relationships in the region.
Since joining Boffa Miskell in 2004, Craig spent 13 years as the Tauranga office’s Managing Principal. His contribution to the team there and to the company as a whole is hugely valued and he is acknowledged as an approachable, considered and caring leader. His positive influence has helped shape the office into the great team it is today.
Reflecting on his time in the role, Craig says, “Leading the Boffa Miskell team in Tauranga has been a highlight of my career. It is a pleasure to lead people who are talented, self-motivated and so engaged in the work they do.”
