With 11+ years of experience in the private sector, local government and central government planning roles across both policy planning and consenting in New Zealand and London, I have a comprehensive understanding of the Resource Management Act 1991 and its practical application to a broad variety of projects.

Recent experience includes playing a lead role in several district plan reviews (Far North District, New Plymouth District and South Taranaki District), preparing plan changes and submissions on behalf of network utility operators, and consenting a range of infrastructure projects including Wellington Airport Control Tower, Auckland Airport and Airways infrastructure upgrades, Auckland Transport roading improvements and Department of Corrections facilities. I also have experience preparing planning assessments and resource consent applications for a wide range of industrial developments, including asphalt plants and truck depots on behalf of private clients.

I have demonstrated experience in project managing multi-disciplinary teams. I continuously aim to further my knowledge and expertise in planning policy and processes, while implementing best practice planning principles. I can clearly and succinctly communicate statutory requirements and can quickly establish and maintain relationships with individuals on a professional and friendly basis.
