Profile
Chris specialises in complex, multi-disciplinary design projects where his skills in project management, contract documentation and contract administration are essential.
He has been with Boffa Miskell, Auckland, since 1989 and previously worked for the Manukau and Christchurch City Councils.
Chris is experienced in a wide range of landscape projects including urban streetscapes, commercial, institutional, park and reserve, residential and shopping centre developments and redevelopments. He has worked on central city urban design projects involving community consultation, extensive detailed design and supervision of works.

Conceptual design, master plan, detailed construction and planting design, schedules of quantity, specifications, contract documentation and costings.

Advising on site selection and providing functional site layouts that are creatively responsive to the special features of the site and the specific requirements of the client.
Urban design
Designing public space in urban environments to provide vital, attractive and functional places for people - city centres, streets and plazas, waterfronts, shopping centres, community housing. Evaluating community views, pedestrian movement, built form, traffic and parking.
Land and visual assessment
Assessment of landscape and visual effects resulting from development proposals.
Highway design
Landscape design and documentation for major infrastructure projects.
