A transformational project in the Tauranga CBD.

Boffa Miskell planners have led the various planning and archaeological authority approval processes associated with the Tauranga civic precinct redevelopment project known as Te Manawataki o Te Papa "The heartbeat of Te Papa".

Te Manawataki o Te Papa is a key transformational project for the city centre, involving the establishment of a new library and community hub, civic whare, museum and exhibition space, plus redevelopment of the art gallery and Masonic Park.

The Boffa Miskell team have worked closely with the wider project team, which includes a range of design and other technical experts, to deliver the necessary approvals in a short timeframe. Our scope has also involved the completion of a CPTED review for the proposed development.
