Before joining the Boffa Miskell team, I undertook the postgraduate entry taught Master of Landscape Architecture at Te Whare Wānaka o Aoraki, Lincoln University.

I am deeply interested in cultural and heritage narratives, and the expression of these through landscape, environment, planting, and design. This was reflected in my final year major design project. It centred on a Māori rock art site as a tangible expression of people’s connection with place and environment throughout time. It focused on communicating and strengthening biocultural relationships, drawing on traditional and contemporary knowledge to promote positive future landscape practice.

The opportunity to contribute to the quality of life, positive health outcomes and the resolution of social issues through the landscape is important to me and aligns with my background in healthcare, specifically dentistry.

Like my work in dentistry, landscape architecture is grounded in the relationships between form and function, people and environment, art and science. I look forward to bringing a new perspective, love of design, and passion for detail to the diverse, multidisciplinary team at Boffa Miskell.
