I manage and lead a range of diverse projects with extensive experience in the private sector especially in delivering land development outcomes through statutory and policy processes as well as plan preparation. I regularly act as an expert planning witness at Council hearings, the Environment Court and High Court.

I particularly enjoy the alternative dispute resolution processes offered by the Environment Court where I can offer creative solutions that do not expose the project to unnecessary risks and delay. I am a clear communicator and try to avoid the jargon that often comes with my profession, and work best when collaborating as part of a team. I relish opportunities to apply my experience to find innovative solutions to complex planning challenges.

I have considerable planning experience, including project management and co-ordination of the technical reports required for the purposes of advancing subdivision, land development and policy processes. My technical skills include developing planning strategy, project management, and team co-ordination. I have a strong track record across a range of projects that include recreation activities, film production, land development, spatial planning, infrastructure and post-disaster recovery planning.

I am a full member of the New Zealand Planning Institute and committed to the highest standard of environmental outcomes. I am a shareholder Director on the board of Boffa Miskell and a member of the Institute of Directors. I'm currently the Technical Lead for Planning and am based in Queenstown, where I established the Boffa Miskell office in 2016.
