Deborah is a planner with 16 years’ experience in both the local government and private sector. She has experience in statutory and policy planning, and has had recent experience working under bespoke legislative instruments including the Greater Christchurch Regeneration Act.
Deborah has extensive experience as a policy planner. She was the lead planner for Auckland Council for the various heritage topics in the Proposed Auckland Unitary Plan. These topics included Regional Policy Statement provisions, Regional Coastal Plan provisions and District Plan provisions.
Deborah has been involved in the processing of private plan changes to District Plans, the preparation of structure plans, and the preparation of submissions on proposed planning provisions on behalf of clients.
Deborah has experience in both the processing and preparation of resource consent applications and has processed Notices of Requirement on behalf of local authorities.
