She has extensive freshwater ecology experience including catchment-wide monitoring programmes, watercourse management plans, ecological impact assessments, compliance monitoring, effects assessments and freshwater mitigation assessments.  She has worked on marine ecology projects both within New Zealand and overseas. Her experience includes benthic recolonisation monitoring surveys, sub-tidal and intertidal habitat mapping, intertidal community assessment and monitoring, and ecological impact assessments.
