With over two decades' experience across landscape architecture, environmental management, and restoration ecology, I bring a diverse and in-depth knowledge of water sensitive design (WSD), ecological restoration, and sustainable development practices to my project work.

My approach is to work collaboratively across professional disciplines, and with stakeholders, mana whenua and other project partners, in order to align objectives and deliver resilient outcomes. I have applied this inclusive and positive approach to multiple roads of national significance, large residential and industrial land developments, open space planning and development strategies, regional path networks, integrated catchment and watercourse management plans, and the design and implementation of many stream, wetland, and coastal regeneration projects.

I have worked with councils, industry groups, and central government to establish guidelines and standards for sustainable design. These include Guideline GD_01, Stormwater Devices, and as principal author of the technical documents Landscape and Ecology Values within Stormwater Management, and Guideline GD_04, Water Sensitive Design for Stormwater.
