About Maurice

Maurice has worked as a planner since 1998, principally for local authorities in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Maurice has a broad range of experience and skills in statutory planning under the Resource Management Act, encompassing both policy making and project consenting for Councils, government agencies, corporates, and private clients.

Maurice is currently providing planning assistance to a range of government and corporate clients, including working on consenting projects for the Department of Corrections and Transpower, and assisting in plan review processes for Marlborough and Timaru District Councils.

Maurice’s work has included the full spectrum of both natural and physical resource management issues and has included work on developments and resource management policy matters in urban, rural, coastal and marine environments.

Maurice enjoys delivering his work to a high standard, and using his experience and skills to achieve good and pragmatic environmental outcomes.
