Much of Sean’s professional experience has involved Regional and District Council resource consenting processes, having worked for a number of major public and private entities New Zealand-wide throughout his career. He has gained a wide array of experience in infrastructure projects, land development schemes, as well as a range of planning policy projects and plan changes.
Sean has an excellent understanding of the management and planning issues associated with social infrastructure and network utility facilities, and has managed a number of non-statutory projects, including site selection studies and feasibility assessments. In addition, he has lead numerous jobs requiring the procurement of coastal permits and consents for the storage and use of hazardous substances.
Sean has managed a number of land development projects involving complex consent processes, including industrial and residential subdivisions in growth areas of Tauranga and Auckland. He is also a trusted advisor for a number of government clients, including the Department of Corrections.
