About Yoko

Yoko is a Landscape Architect with fourteen years’ professional experience designing and delivering landscape schemes in New Zealand and the UK. Her experience includes mixed-use public realm projects, town centre developments, urban streetscapes, open space planning, schools and hospitals.

She returned to Boffa Miskell at the end of 2013 after five years working as a Landscape Architect in London. During that time, she has developed a particular expertise in complex infrastructure projects in the rail transportation sector and the urban renewal and redevelopment projects including international portfolio projects.

Having trained in both Landscape and Building Architecture, She is passionate about creating responsive and integrated environments that blend the essence of these two disciplines.

She has a sound understanding of high quality landscape implementation and led a number of projects from concept design to construction. Her aim lies in the design and delivery of high quality urban streetscapes and public realm spaces.
