A new Technical Lead appointment

Associate Partner Chris Ferguson has been appointed Technical Lead for Planning.

Chris has wide experience covering planning and resource management services. This has included resource consents, policy development in relation to District Plans, and designations throughout each stage of the planning process.

He has undertaken a wide range of work in the role of an expert witness within council and court hearing processes, including the preparation of evidence, hearings, conferencing with other experts and participating in mediation and alternative dispute resolution processes.

Chris is a full member of New Zealand Planning Institute (NZPI); and a member of the Resource Management Law Association (RMLA).

Boffa Miskell’s Technical Leaders are responsible for oversight and development of our disciplines through input into, and development and implementation of, national strategies and action plans.

Chris joins the other Technical Leads: Michael Hawes (design), Leigh Bull (sciences) and Te Pio Kawe (Te Hīhiri).
