Projects in Auckland, Napier, and Passchendaele (Belgium) were recognised at the 2019 DINZ Best Awards.
The design industry’s biggest night recognises achievement in a variety of categories, from websites and product packaging to architecture and interactive installations. This year, Boffa Miskell entered five projects and took home four Pins in three categories — more than any previous year.
Te Auaunga (Auckland) was awarded a Silver Pin in the Public Good category. Marine Parade (Napier) and the New Zealand Memorial Garden (Passchendaele) took Bronze Pins in the Public and Institutional Spaces category; and Mara Hupara Playground, which was entered in the Ngā Aho division, also took a Bronze.
Victoria Square in Christchurch, a joint entry with Matapopore Charitable Trust, was a finalist in the Ngā Aho category.
