Announcing the 2026 Boffa Miskell Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is responsible for the overall governance of Boffa Miskell, including determining the company’s strategic direction.

The 2026 Board of Directors: Greg Barclay, Rebecca Ryder, Simon Clarke, Chris Ferguson, Yvonne Pflüger and Dave Moule.

Rebecca Ryder joined Boffa Miskell in 2001 as one of the earliest members of the Tauranga office. An experienced landscape architect with a strong background in landscape planning, Rebecca's project work includes landscape evaluation and identification, open space network planning and landscape assessment. The Waikato Regional Seascape Assessment and Tauranga City Council Plan Change 33 Landscape Qualifying Matters Assessments are among her award-winning projects. Rebecca has served provided service at the branch and national levels on the committees for New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects Tuia Pito Ora (NZILA) and was named a Fellow of the Institute at the 2023 Conference.

Chris Ferguson is Technical Lead for Planning. Based in Queenstown, where he established the Boffa Miskell office in 2016, Chris manages and leads a range of diverse projects. He has extensive experience in the private sector, especially in delivering land development outcomes through statutory and policy processes as well as plan preparation. His technical skills include developing planning strategy, project management, and team co-ordination. Chris regularly acts as an expert planning witness at Council hearings, the Environment Court and High Court.

Yvonne Pflüger is a landscape planner with expertise in landscape value assessments, identification of Outstanding Natural Landscapes, advice regarding the development of appropriate management mechanisms and evidence for plan review hearings. Based in Queenstown, she provides peer reviews and advice on consent applications to the EPA and various councils and is often involved in the preparation of District and Regional Spatial Plans. Her work in landscape planning has been awarded by the New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects Tuia Pito Ora (NZILA).

Dave Moule joins the Boffa Miskell Board as a shareholder director this year. He joined Boffa Miskell ten years ago as the first consultant hired in the Hamilton office. He has broad experience in the regulatory environment, gained through career as a planner in local government and private sector roles. Dave provides expert resource management advice to a range of clients throughout the Waikato. He has played a leading role in many award-winning teams recognised by the Property Council of New Zealand. Dave is also Technical Lead for Specialist & Internal Services
