28 April 2026

Jourdan Lethbridge has successfully achieved his CEnvP after meeting the criteria for training, experience, professional conduct and ethical behaviour.

Since joining Boffa Miskell in 2017, Jourdan has delivered biosecurity services to a wide range of organisations, including Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand, the Mid Dome Wilding Conifer Control Programme, The Top of the South Biosecurity Partnership, Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu, Christchurch City Council, Environment Canterbury and Meridian Energy. Driven by a strong commitment to protecting Aotearoa’s natural ecosystems, he brings practical experience, technical capability, and a proactive approach to his project work.

Jourdan leads landscape-scale aquatic weed control operations and implements a range of techniques, including aerial and boat-based herbicide applications, diver-based control, benthic barrier control, and targeted hand-weeding. These programmes span key waterbodies across Aotearoa, including Lake Karāpiro, Lake Wakatipu, the Kawarau River, Lake Dunstan, Lake Wānaka, Lake Benmore, Lake Aviemore, Lake Ruataniwha, and Lake Ohau.

A key part of that work includes engaging with clients and stakeholders, coordinating contractors, designing annual work programmes, and preparing detailed control and planning reports. Jourdan oversees stakeholder consultation, contract management, invoicing, reporting, mapping, and budget management to ensure programmes are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

The Certified Environmental Practitioner Scheme (CEnvP) was established in 2004 by the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand (EIANZ). A Certified Environmental Practitioner is the highest grade of general environmental practice in Australia and New Zealand, and recognises outstanding practical experience and expertise, as well as high ethical standards.

Certification is conferred upon environmental practitioners who successfully fulfil the EIANZ rigorous requirements, which includes an application form, panel interview and subsequent ratification by the CEnvP Board.
