Pouwhiri | Principal

I work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams on master planning, landscape ecology and design, and landscape management projects throughout New Zealand and overseas.

My key focus is on design and technical input for projects ranging from public precincts and streetscape to commercial/retail and institution development, and waterfront infrastructure. My strengths lie in programming exciting and effective spaces that engage people, respect the landscape and water catchments, and are expressive of contextual narrative.

I have gained considerable experience working with developers, public agencies, iwi, consultants, contractors, and communities to achieve innovative, sustainable, and community-focused landscape outcomes. I have a particular interest in stormwater management and coastal processes, and the opportunities that water-sensitive design offers for exciting and resilient communities, improved water quality, and public education.

I am a reliable and motivated professional who enjoys the collaborative nature of the landscape architecture profession, and I regularly contribute as a Lecturer or Studio Tutor at the School of Landscape Architecture at Lincoln University.
