I am a terrestrial ecologist, specialising in indigenous Mackenzie Basin botany. Over the past three years as a consultant, I have contributed to and managed a range of projects undergoing the consenting process throughout the South Island, including solar farms, subdivisions, gravel extraction, and other developments. Additionally, I regularly contribute to long-term vegetation monitoring in Canterbury’s braided rivers and grasslands.
My PhD research focused on the reproductive biology of two indigenous Carmichaelia species in the Lake Tekapo Scientific Reserve.
At Boffa Miskell, I assist with assessments of ecological effects, ecological impact assessments, wetland delineations, habitat mapping, long-term monitoring programs, and the preparation of evidence as needed for hearings.
