Whangārei OFFICE

I have over two decades' experience in biosecurity and biodiversity management for both government and NGOs. With a strong background in applied conservation and restoration, I advise a wide range of clients, including community groups, private clients and councils. I have specialist experience and expertise in several fields of conservation management such as biosecurity and species protection and reintroduction, with extensive project management capability.

Prior to joining Boffa Miskell I developed and managed my own ecological restoration consulting company. I was the project lead on the highly successful, award-winning community conservation programme at Bream Head for eight years, and now sit on the Bream Head/Te Whara Conservation Trust science/technical advisory group. Being a member of the New Zealand Biosecurity Institute maintains my connection with the latest knowledge within this industry.

My recent consultation projects include Predator Free New Zealand pest eradication planning, state of the environment reporting, pest management plans for development mitigation and trialing new technology and R&D for private clients as part of the Predator Free NZ products to places programme.
