I am a planner, urban designer and project manager with extensive experience on a wide variety of projects at various scales. I have experience with local government, central government and with private clients including plan and policy development, resource consents, designations and outline plans and design review. I have appeared at council hearings, mediations and have also prepared evidence for the Environment Court.

Through this work, I have developed a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and requirements that arise within New Zealand’s regulatory framework and how to leverage off this to deliver on a client’s vision. My science-based background enables me to quickly understand the evidence and technical matters with an appreciation of natural systems and the interface that this has with people and communities.

I have considerable experience in policy and plan formulation and assessment. I have a broad skill set and can work with complex projects, multi-disciplinary teams, and in contested environments. I am passionate about delivering good environmental outcomes.
